Saint Benedict’s Choir:

A Voice for All

The Saint Benedict’s Choir is a group of adults who rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7–9 pm and who help make the celebration of our 11:30 Sunday Mass one of inspiration. Sunday Mass, however, isn’t the only time when this Group gets to shine. They are also an integral part of Saint Benedict’s holiday celebrations, including the Midnight Mass on December 25th and all throughout Holy Week. The Choir welcomes others who have special “musical” talent, so, if you have expertise on a musical instrument, the Choir would love to hear from you!

St Benedict’s Choir is open to people of all ages and no audition is needed to join – just enthusiasm. Currently plans are being discussed concerning formation of a contemporary Choir group, so, if you are interested in sharing your ideas and your voice the Choir is a very worthwhile commitment that only involves about three hours of your time weekly. They are always looking to try new things and encourage the congregation’s involvement in the highest form of prayer to God – song. To learn more about the Choir or if you a ready to sign up, please call Glenn Hufnagel at 833-5033 for more information.
