Penance and Reconciliation - Called to Heal and Restore

A great two page brief from the USCCB

We use a "readiness model" that honors and respects the child's faith life.

When you and your child have finished the workbook(s) and are ready, come see us.

Together we will schedule a time.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation has three elements:

conversion, confession, and celebration

We find God's unconditional forgiveness; as a result we are called to forgive others.

Parents are given excellent resources, catechized at two parent meetings and a family retreat.

Parents work with their child to learn the Act of Contrition and other general prayers.

Parents are the key in their child(s) Sacrament preparation and Faith Formation.

We encourage and support families to attend Mass on a regular basis.

Questions or thoughts, please contact us.

Confessions are held every Saturday from 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. in church.

Peace & Joy
